Jamia launches MSc Virology Course: Know Details

The motivation behind starting the MSc Virology Course

MCARS was at the forefront of creating reliable diagnostic methods and treatments against COVID-19. Using CRISPR-Cas technology, the academics at MCARS created the world’s first saliva-based SARS-CoV-2 detection technique. That innovation became the foundation stone for this master’s degree. The further impetus came from the severe lack of skilled manpower, who could develop and administer these diagnoses, during the peak of Covid 19 in the country. With this program, MCARS aims to supply the nation and the industry with skilled virologists.
