The Siddharth Anand directorial Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham was released a while back, and since then the film has proved to be unstoppable at the box office. After dominating the box office window over its extended opening weekend, Pathaan which saw a release across 8,000 screens worldwide witnessed exponential growth in business over its opening week. If that was not enough, with positive feedback from critics and audience alike, the film continued to see a steady rate of footfalls as the week progressed.
Now, after its third Saturday running, Pathaan that has been on a record breaking spree has managed to set a new benchmark. Collecting Rs. 11.25 cr nett (Hindi Rs. 11 crore, All Dubbed versions Rs. 0.25 crore) on its third Saturday, the total collections of Pathaan at the domestic box office are pegged at Rs. 476.05 crore nett (Hindi Rs. 459.25 crore, Dubbed Rs. 16.80 crore). With this the total gross collections of the Yash Raj Films production Pathaan, within the domestic market stand at a staggering Rs. 572 cr. In the overseas market, Pathaan which has seen an equally good response in the overseas market has managed to draw in USD 42.85 million, this coupled with the domestic gross has managed to push the overall collections of Pathaan that much close to the Rs. 1000 cr mark.
Currently, Pathaan has managed to draw in a staggering Rs. 924 crore (India gross Rs. 572 crore, overseas Rs. 352 crore) at the worldwide box office. But, with the film still enjoying the audiences’ favour, it is sure to cross the Rs. 1000 cr mark by the end of its third Sunday.
