There is no stopping RRR. After setting the BO on fire, not just in India, but also across the world, the movie has now created history by becoming the first Indian movie to win the best original song at the recently concluded 80th Golden Globe Awards ceremony. Music director MM Keeravani, who composed the iconic number Naatu Naatu accepted the award on the team’s behalf. Soon after the news reached the country, the industry erupted in celebrations as everyone was seen rejoicing to this amazing feat.
Actor Tiger Shroff too, took to his IG handle to celebrate the win in the way he best knows how to – dance! Yes, the actor danced his way through joy as he recreated the iconic number Naatu Naatu. Donning an all-black ensemble with a black hat, Tiger gave his own spin to the chartbuster. Sharing a video of the same, the War actor wrote, “This should be our victory dance after yesterday😁⚡️huge win for Indian Cinema! congratulations to the whole team of RRR @ssrajamouli @mmkeeravani @jrntr @alwaysramcharan”
Many celebrities dropped comments on his video. Filmmaker Karan Johar wrote, “Wow, this is such an outstanding tribute to such a historic and iconic song for Indian cinema, love it.” Others like Kapil Sharma, Sanya Malhotra and Mika Singh too dropped heartfelt reactions on the same.
RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of two freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The movie has collected over ₹1200 crore worldwide. Apart from Jr. N.T.R. and Ram Charan, the movie also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran.
